Building Campaign

Campaign for the Building of a Church School

We are excited to announce our plans for building a school that will provide high-quality Classical Christian Education to children (K-8th grade), while also serving as a hub for various church activities. Our vision includes a possible partnership with the “Ecclesial School Initiative” to integrate the school into the life of the church and make a lasting impact on future generations.

SCHOOL VISION

  • Classical Christian Education: The school will offer a rigorous, Christ-centered education that focuses on the classical model—emphasizing the development of virtue, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of the truth found in God’s Word.
  • Possible Partnership with Ecclesial School Initiative:
    • Administrator: The Administrator will be a committed member of our church, dedicated to overseeing the operations and growth of the school.
    • Teachers: All faculty members will be born-again believers who are approved by the Administrator and are aligned with the school’s mission and values.
    • Classroom Space: The classrooms will belong to the church, ensuring that the school operates within the church’s broader mission. The church will open the classrooms for use by the school in the mornings during the academic year.
  • Low-Cost Education: Our goal is to make this education accessible to as many families as possible, keeping tuition costs affordable while maintaining high standards of academic and spiritual excellence.

CHURCH VISION AND COMMUNITY IMPACT

The facility will help The Grove to expand its ministry further develop its impact in the community through the following programs:

  • Elective Classes: Offering a variety of classes that cater to the needs and interests of the church body.
  • Vacation Bible School (VBS): An outreach program designed to share the Word of God and the love of Christ with children in the local area through fun, engaging, and Bible-centered activities.
  • Awana Program: A discipleship program for children, teaching them biblical principles and verse memorization in a fun and engaging way, aimed at instilling lifelong spiritual impact.
  • Sports Leagues: A Gospel-centered sports ministry that will engage children, teens, and adults in athletic activities, teamwork, and discipline, which will give a great outreach opportunity into the community.
  • Youth Group: A gym will provide The Grove’s Student Ministry with a place to enjoy safe recreation.
  • Counseling Services: Providing pastoral care, marriage counseling, and family support for church members and the broader community.

BUILDING EXPANSION AND GROWTH

We are currently in the first phase of a possible multi-stage church building expansion, which includes:

  • Stage One: The initial phase will be focused on creating a facility that will serve both the school and the church’s ongoing programs. This phase will include essential classrooms, fellowship spaces, administrative offices, and a gymnasium.
  • Stage Two Expansion: Once the first phase is completed, we will have the option to move forward with the next stage of development, which will include:
    • A 700-seat auditorium for worship services, community events, and gatherings.
    • A large lobby space for fellowship and community interaction.
    • Additional classrooms for expanded education programs and church ministries.

FUNDRAISING AND FINANCIAL NEED

To bring this vision to life, we are embarking on a $8,000,000 fundraising campaign. The cost for Stage One is approximately $8 million, which will cover the construction and design of the initial phase of the church and school facility.

  • Our Goal: We are seeking to raise at least half of the required amount through pledges to move forward with construction.
  • Financial Partnership: We are also exploring a financial partnership with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) of Florida to secure a loan to help cover the costs and ensure the timely completion of the project.

TIMELINE FOR LAUNCH

Our anticipated timeline for the school’s opening is Fall 2026. With God’s blessing, we plan to begin with 3-4 classes during that term. If the project progresses smoothly, we hope to open the building at that time with more classrooms, offering a full range of educational opportunities.

We are trusting in God’s provision and faithfulness as we step forward in this endeavor. Please consider partnering with us in prayer and financial support as we move closer to realizing this vision.
